OSP Cited Motorist for Extreme Speeding on Interstate 5 in Grants Pass Area

The Oregon State Police arrested a motorist for extreme speeding on Interstate 5 in the Grants Pass area yesterday.

According to OSP, troopers caught up to and pulled over a Dodge Journey driven by a 25-year-old man on the freeway at 1:21 p.m. Thursday.

Troopers said they stopped the motorist after they observed him traveling at 107 miles per hour in a 65 mile-per-hour speed zone. He was also found to be driving without a license or insurance.

The suspect was cited to appear in court for the traffic violations and his vehicle was impounded.
