Local Law Agencies Reminding Motorists Schools Resume Classes Today
The Josephine County Sheriff's Office and Grants Pass Police Department are reminding motorists that local schools are resuming classes today.
That means motorists should use extra caution on local roadways, especially in the vicinity of schools in Josephine County including Grants Pass, Merlin, Murphy, Cave Junction, Williams and Wolf Creek.
The Sheriff's Office and GPPD are presenting drivers with their "Back to School" assignments:
Obey school speed zones.
Stop for buses -- red, flashing lights mean STOP.
Watch for walkers, bicycle riders and skateboarders.
Have patience with other drivers, especially in the school drop-off and pick-up lines.
