This week we are proud to recognize Hidden Valley High School Senior, Mauricio Mendez.
Mauricio Mendez is a senior at Hidden Valley High School and multisport athlete. Mauricio is a team captain on the Mustang's basketball team that made the state championship bracket. When asked what his best sport is, Mauricio, who stands six feet seven inches tall, replied 'baseball.' A pitcher who is in control of his fast ball is slated to play college baseball next year at Linn-Benton. His plan is to major in business and kinesiology. He gives credit to his father who played major league baseball for his athleticism.
