GP Police Cited Motorist for Causing Thursday Crash on Rogue River Highway

Grants Pass Police cited a motorist for causing a crash on Rogue River Highway yesterday.

According to the Police Department, officers and emergency crews responded to the two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Highway 99 and Parkdale Drive on Thursday around 2:35 p.m..

Police said a woman was driving a green Jeep south on the highway when she made a left turn onto Parkdale in front of a northbound blue Pontiac sedan driven by a man. Fortunately, no one was seriously hurt in the crash.

The Pontiac had to be towed from the scene due to damage sustained in the crash.

Following an investigation, the female motorist was cited for Dangerous Left Turn and No Insurance. She left the Jeep in the Bottle Drop Center parking lot and was warned not drive it until she had obtained insurance.
